29 Ukrainian drones were shot down over the Belgorod region in two hours

On the morning of October 4, air defense alert systems destroyed 29 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones over the Belgorod region, the Russian Ministry of Defense’s Telegram channel reported .

The drones were shot down between 8:00 and 11:00 a.m. Moscow time, the Defense Ministry clarified. Eight Ukrainian UAVs were also destroyed overnight over the Belgorod Region, bringing the total number of aircraft intercepted and destroyed over Russian regions and the Black Sea, the Defense Ministry previously reported.

In September, 20 civilians were killed and 185 injured in attacks in the Belgorod region, regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported on Telegram. According to him, two civilians were killed on October 3 alone.

On the morning of October 4, a drone attack alert was issued throughout the region. As of 11:30 a.m., the alert remains in effect, according to Gladkov’s statement.
