Two dead, a four-year-old child among the wounded: the consequences of UAV and KAB strikes in Sumy region

On the night of October 8, the enemy attacked civilian infrastructure in the Sumy district with drones and air defense missiles. The shelling killed two people and wounded three.

The Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this.

On October 8, at around 4:00 a.m., the occupiers dropped three guided bombs on houses in the Belopolska community. A 66-year-old man was killed.

That night, the enemy also attacked an agricultural firm in the Nikolaev rural community. A 40-year-old worker at the firm, who was involved in the harvest, was killed.

In the Krasnopolskaya community, occupiers struck a house with a drone overnight. The attack injured a four-year-old girl, her 25-year-old mother, and her 56-year-old grandmother.

According to police, dozens of civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged by shelling in the region over the course of the day. In Sumy, damage was recorded to three apartment buildings, a service station, car dealerships, and a trolleybus.
