The premiere of the Elettrica model will take place in the spring of 2026 – the car will be a 986-horsepower grand tourer with a lively sound and a range of over 530 km.
Ferrari is preparing for a new era – in 2026 the company will introduce its first electric car, code-named Elettrica.
According to official information, the electric grand tourer will receive four electric motors with a total power of over 986 hp and will accelerate to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds. The maximum speed will reach 310 km/h. The driver will be able to choose between three driving modes – Range, Tour and Performance, as well as adjust the level of traction and the intensity of regenerative braking using the paddles on the steering wheel.
Ferrari decided not to simulate the sound of the engine with artificial effects. Instead, special sensors read the real vibrations of the inverter, and the system amplifies them, creating a natural sound that changes depending on the driving style.
The electric car is equipped with a 122 kWh battery integrated into the floor of the body, which has lowered the center of gravity by 80 mm compared to gasoline models. The energy density of the battery is 195 Wh/kg, which is one of the highest among production electric cars. The range will exceed 530 km, and charging at a power of up to 350 kW will allow you to quickly replenish energy.
The Elettrica’s chassis and body are made from 75% recycled aluminum. The design includes a separate rear subframe to reduce vibrations in the cabin, and the 48-volt active suspension system, borrowed from the Purosangue and F80 models, will provide a balance between comfort and steering precision.
The Elettrica is expected to have a four-door, four-seat body, similar to Ferrari’s grand tourers of past generations. At around 2.3 tonnes, it will be the heaviest car in the brand’s history.
The official world premiere of the Ferrari Elettrica is scheduled for spring 2026, and the company promises to show the first images of the interior next year. The electric car will be produced at the new E-Building plant in Maranello, created specifically for the production of electric and hybrid models.
