On October 12, Russian forces launched an attack on Kupyansk. A 59-year-old civilian woman was killed and a 63-year-old man sustained multiple injuries.
An investigative team from the Kupyansk District Police Department is working at the scene. The injured man was taken to the nearest stabilization center for medical treatment.
Law enforcement officials in the Kharkiv region are documenting yet another war crime committed by Russian troops and collecting evidence for the investigation. The information has been entered into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes).
