An explosion occurred in the central part of Kharkiv's Kyivskyi district, according to Mayor Ihor Terekhov. He said the blast occurred in a residential area, shattering windows.
Terekhov later reported that the explosion occurred as a result of a strike by an unidentified drone.
Kharkiv Regional State Administration Head Oleh Sinegubov confirmed that the enemy attacked the city with drones.
"The enemy launched a UAV strike on Kharkiv's Kyivskyi district. The windows of a dormitory and two civilian vehicles were damaged. There have been no reports of casualties yet," he noted.
The State Emergency Service units and city public utilities are working at the scene.
