The children of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and former Olympic rhythmic gymnastics champion Alina Kabaeva live undercover. Specifically, their two sons, Ivan and Vladimir, are officially identified as Spiridonov.
This was reported by a Russian Telegram channel. They noted that the Kremlin leader’s daughters, Ekaterina and Maria, also live under fictitious names.
As for Putin’s sons, their surname likely derives from the patronymic of their paternal grandfather, Vladimir Spiridonovich Putin. And the surname Tikhonova, borne by the Kremlin leader’s daughter, Ekaterina, most likely derives from the patronymic of Ekaterina Shkrebneva, Putin’s maternal grandmother.

Vladimir Putin and Alina Kabaeva, along with their two sons, are known to spend most of their time at the presidential residence in Valdai. According to one Russian publication,
a separate wooden palace, a spa complex, a children’s recreation area, and a large park have been built there specifically for Kabaeva, her children, and staff.
Ivan and Vladimir do occasionally appear in public, which is what allowed journalists to obtain their photographs.

As a reminder, Russian media previously reported that Putin’s sons are likely
being trained for sports . They are training with professional coaches in gymnastics, swimming, and chess. They are also beginning to find teachers for general education subjects.
