Partial power outages in Kharkiv, Pryluky, and Sumy: Ministry of Energy on the consequences of overnight shelling

On the night and morning of October 7, Russian troops attacked the power infrastructure in the Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Sumy regions. Some customers remain without power after previous attacks.

The Ministry of Energy reported this.

The situation in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions remains challenging. Power workers are working nonstop to restore power to consumers.

On the morning of October 7, Russian forces launched an airstrike on the Chernihiv region. The target was the town of Pryluky.

"We've had another power outage. More than 61,000 customers were left without power at one time," Chernihiv-Oblenergo JSC reported.

According to Sumyoblenergo, part of Sumy was without power this morning due to Russian shelling.

According to the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, 10,387 subscribers in the Nemyshlyansky and Industrialny districts of Kharkiv were temporarily without power.
