A fire broke out at the Solder Plant OJSC in Novosibirsk, Russia. According to the ASTRA Telegram channel, the blaze started in the plant's warehouse.
Around 70 rescuers and over 20 pieces of equipment are working at the scene, and a fire train has been deployed. According to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire has been contained to an area of approximately 2,000 square meters. There are no preliminary reports of casualties or injuries.
The Novosibirsk Solder Plant manufactures industrial metal products, including solders, alloys, and babbitt, and also rolls non-ferrous metals, including tin, lead, copper, silver, and zinc. The company's website lists the defense industry among its customers.
Earlier, in April 2025, the Dossier investigative center published a list of enterprises included in the closed registry of Russia's defense industry. The Novosibirsk Solder Plant was included on this list.
