In Kharkiv, police are investigating the circumstances of a traffic accident that resulted in the death of a passenger car driver, according to regional police.
The accident occurred on October 11 at approximately 9:10 PM in the Kyivskyi district of the city. According to preliminary reports, the 47-year-old driver of a Mitsubishi lost control, veered off the road through the oncoming lane, and collided with a parked Renault Scenic and Chevrolet. The impact caused the vehicles to bounce off and collide with another vehicle, a Renault Simbol.
As a result of the accident, the Mitsubishi driver died in the ambulance, and the Renault Simbol driver was hospitalized with multiple injuries.
A pre-trial investigation has been opened into the accident under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Investigators are establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
