On October 15, at approximately 2:00 AM, a fatal accident involving a Renault Daster and a MAN truck occurred at kilometer 162 of the Kyiv-Chop highway near the village of Nova Vasylivka in the Zhytomyr region. Two people were killed and one was seriously injured.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Zhytomyr Oblast .
A Renault Daster driven by a 47-year-old man crashed into a MAN truck with a semi-trailer parked on the side of the road, driven by a 56-year-old resident of Ternopil.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the car and his 56-year-old passenger died instantly. Another passenger, a 41-year-old man, sustained multiple injuries and was hospitalized. All of them were residents of the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
Investigators from the Main Directorate of the National Police have launched an investigation under Part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code.
