Ukraine's grain shipments have decreased

In March of this year, Ukraine shipped 3.206 million tons, while last year this figure was 4.529 million tons.

In Ukraine, exports of grain and leguminous crops have decreased this year compared to the same period last year. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, citing the State Customs Service.

It is noted that as of March 28, since the beginning of the 2024-2025 marketing year (MY, July-June), Ukraine has exported 32.389 million tons of grain and leguminous crops, of which 3.206 million tons were shipped this month, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reported, citing the State Customs Service.

According to the report, as of the same date last year, the total shipment figure was 34.199 million tons, including 4.529 million tons in March.

At the same time, in terms of crops, since the beginning of the current season, 12.997 million tons of wheat have been exported (in March – 994 thousand tons), 2.206 million tons of barley (62 thousand tons), 10.8 thousand tons of rye (0), and 16.72 million tons of corn (2.14 million tons).

Total exports of Ukrainian flour since the beginning of the season as of March 28 are estimated at 53.1 thousand tons (in March – 4.5 thousand tons), including wheat – 49.2 thousand tons (4.4 thousand tons).

Let's say that from the beginning of June , the EU plans to reduce imports of products from Ukraine . The current preferential conditions will no longer be in place.
