G7 ambassadors held an urgent meeting with Ukraine's Energy Minister following new Russian attacks on the energy grid.

Ambassadors from the G7 countries held an emergency meeting with Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko and representatives of key energy companies – Naftogaz Ukrainy, Ukrenergo, and Energoatom.

According to a post on the official G7 Ambassadors Support Group for Ukraine account on the X network, during the meeting, the parties discussed the consequences of new Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy and civilian infrastructure and agreed on further support measures to counter further attacks.

G7 ambassadors emphasized their partners' readiness to assist Ukraine in restoring damaged facilities, strengthening energy resilience, and meeting its most pressing needs ahead of the winter season.
