Trump names final Gaza deal location and Hamas hostage release date

“We have secured the release of all remaining (Hamas – ed.) hostages, and they are expected to be released Monday or Tuesday (October 13 or 14 – ed.),” Trump noted.

He said that releasing hostages is a complex process and he “prefers not to talk about what needs to be done to secure their freedom.”

“We will travel to Egypt, where the signing of a supplemental agreement will take place. We have already signed the agreement on my behalf, but now the official signing will take place,” the American leader clarified.

He also noted that the countries of the Middle East, from Qatar to Saudi Arabia and the UAE, both rich and less rich, “all of them have united.”

The President clarified that the Gaza Strip will be “rebuilt.”

“In this part of the world, some countries have enormous wealth, and just a small fraction of what they earn can do wonders for Gaza,” he noted.

As a reminder, on the night of October 9, US President Donald Trump announced that Israel and Hamas had signed the first stage of the American peace plan .

According to the American leader, Hamas essentially agreed to release all hostages, and Israel agreed to withdraw its soldiers to the agreed-upon line.
