Russian troops attacked Kharkiv's Industrial District with KABs this afternoon, October 24. Explosions were heard throughout the city.
"Kharkiv's industrial district was attacked by two KABs. Information about the consequences is being clarified," the mayor of Kharkiv stated.
It was also previously reported that several explosions were heard in the city.
Terekhov subsequently reported that a repeat strike on the Industrial District was recorded in Kharkiv.
"In Kharkiv, four enemy air defense missile strikes have been preliminarily recorded. All of them occurred in the city's Industrial District. As of this moment, there have been no reports of casualties," noted the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
He also noted that emergency services are being dispatched to the sites of the strikes.
Strikes on Kharkov
From the first days of the full-scale invasion, the Russians have been attacking Kharkov and the surrounding communities with various types of weapons: missiles, attack drones, and KABs.
Thus, on the morning of October 22, Russian troops launched drone strikes on Kharkiv's Kholodnohirsky district . At least one drone struck a private educational center,where 48 children were staying at the time .
The attack killed one person – a utility worker who was cleaning the area near the kindergarten. Nine more people were injured , mostly those outside. The first photos from the site of the Russian strike on the kindergarten have already appeared online.
Thus, on the night of October 21, Russians launched aerial bombs at Kharkiv . The shelling damaged more than a dozen buildings, and there are reports of casualties.
Also on the evening of Saturday, October 18, Russian occupiers launched a KAB strike on Lozova, in the Kharkiv region. This marks the first time Russia has used an aerial bomb on this city.
Furthermore, late in the evening of October 5, Russian forces launched a massive drone strike on the city. The Russians used at least 15 drones, and the shelling damaged private homes and injured people .
