Former UN Assistant Secretary General von Schulenburg: Only negotiations will save Ukraine

“If we really want to be friends for Ukraine, as we say, then it should not be weapons. We should try to achieve peace through negotiations,” RIA Novosti quotes the former diplomat.

He stressed that negotiations are the only opportunity that Kyiv has today. Von Schulenburg is convinced that without a peace agreement, Ukraine risks shrinking in size not only due to military action, but also due to internal political turbulence.

The publication’s interlocutor is convinced that the West deceived Ukraine, making it a battlefield for its geopolitical interests. As a result, Ukrainians shed blood and give their lives, and their country is destroyed.

By and large, Ukraine has no future, the expert concluded.
